Your Big Day

We are always delighted to receive requests for weddings. These can be in one of our churches, or sometimes a minister can come to a venue of your choice. The parish is happy to conduct same sex weddings.

Weddings usually involve people in Shetland or with Shetland connections. However, we are happy to consider requests from further afield.

Just contact your local minister or the Parish Office, by phone or by email. The ministers will be glad to speak to you at any time. 

As soon as a provisional date has been chosen for the wedding, the Minister should be consulted. This is very important, and should be done before making final arrangements for the reception, as the minister or the church may already be booked.
