We are always delighted to receive requests for weddings. These can be in one of our churches, or sometimes a minister can come to a venue of your choice. The parish is happy to conduct same sex weddings.

The Church of Scotland baptises people of all ages, from infants to adults. If you are interested in baptism for yourself or your child, we would be glad to talk to you. We can also offer blessings for children where that is a better option for the family.

Everyone in the Parish of Shetland is entitled to ask for a funeral by one of our ministers or celebrants – it doesn’t matter if you are a churchgoer or not. We will always do what we can to help and support you on such sad occasions.
