The Church hosts a number of groups throughout Shetland dedicated to supporting the community and bringing people together.

Church of Scotland Guild: Burra, Scalloway, Unst, Whalsay

The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer, action and fellowship. 

Friendship Group
First Monday of the month at Lerwick’s St Columba’s

An informal group promoting friendship and faith. 

Burra Weekly Cuppa and Chat
Wednesday’s 10am-12noon at the Bridge End Kirk

A weekly get-together. Pop in for a peerie start or bid aa morning. Bring a craft to work on if you wish. 

Fridays at Carnegie
11am-4pm at Carnegie Hall, Sandwick

Tea, Coffee, and Company 
Tuesdays fortnightly 10:30am-12:30pm at St Paul’s Church, Walls

A place in the West Side to gather with friends over a cup of tea. Just come along. 

Whalsay Church Choir
Tuesdays at 6:30pm

New members always welcome – no experience necessary. Just come along and make a joyful noise!
